Bachelor 4 - Derek Viyajakar

Good Evening Legacy Land Viewers.  This week "The Heiress" is changing directions.

Last night you voted for the one of the four remaining four Bachelors you wanted to stay in our competition.

The Bachelor who received the higest number of votes is safe and will stay in our competition

Only our Heiress (and our Producers) knows who that Bachelor was.

From the remaining three Bachelors, she has made the final decision as to who will leave tonight.

Please welcome our Heiress, Caliopie Legalos to our studio.

Welcome Caliopie.  Standing before you are four handsome Bachelors.  Last night Legacy Land voted for the Bachelor they want to stay in the competition.  The Bachelor that received the highest number of votes is safe and cannot be eliminated tonight.  Caliopie, only you know who that Bachelor is.  This means there are three Bachelors who are not safe and you will choose one tonight to leave our competition.  Caliopie.  Have you made your selection?

Caliopie:  Yes, I have.  This wasn't easy to do, and standing here in front of you it's even harder.  You're all such great guys and I have enjoyed getting to know all of you the last four weeks.  But I've made my decision.

Derek, I'm afraid I'm going to have to say goodbye.

Alright Legacy Land, our Heiress has made her decision.  Derek Vayajakar will be leaving our competition.

Please have a seat, both of you, and tell our audience what was right and what was wrong.

But before you tell us what was wrong, we're going to look at one of the dates you went on together.

Derek and Caliopie, you went to the Campus Grille for your date.  It looked like you two hit it off.

Derek:  Yes sir, that was super.  Caliopie showed up and she watched me play pinball

Caliopie: Eventually he even looked up...

Derek: And she was so pretty, and there were none of the other guys there.  I didn't get to talk to her much when they were around, so it was real nice.  I told her how nice she looked and that I really hoped we could get know each other better.

Caliopie: He brought a poem he had written for me.

Burke: Wonderful!  Let's take a look.

Wow Derek - you sure do have a way with words...

Derek:  Thank you sir, I always have.  Then we got something to eat, and I asked her what she liked to do for fun.  Caliopie, can I say what you told me?

Caliopie:  Why not?

Derek:  She told me that she likes kissin.  I told her maybe that I could show her a good time.

Derek: We had a good time.

Tell us what it was you were feeling about Caliopie on that date.

Derek:  I felt very safe with her.  She was easy to talk to, and she laughed at most of my jokes.  She even watched me play video games, which most girls won't do after the first hour.

Caliopie:  He does really like video games.

Now if I'm not mistaken, there was a second date as well.  Tell me how that happened.

Caliopie:  Derek and I have a Media Crisis class together, so he came by HoHoHo to study.  When he came he had written me another poem and asked if I wanted to grab a bite to eat with him.

Another poem?  Let's have a look!

My, My.  What a touching sentiment.  And you wrote this poem as well Derek?

Derek:  Yes sir.  I did.  Beauty like hers inspires me.

Where did you go to eat?

Derek:  We went to the Campus Courtyard Cafe.  I got a real nice table near the fountain.  I like fountains, they remind me of the poetry shooting out of my soul when I see Caliopie.

Caliopie:  He recited his poem for me in front of the fountain.

Derek:  That night was the best of my life.  I wanted to sweep Caliopie off her feet and show her that I could make her happy for the rest of her life.  She was so beautiful and I wanted her to know she didn't deserve what those other guys did to her, especially Orlando.  That smelt awful!

I never expected Caliopie would pick me to leave.  I don't know what I did wrong.

Caliopie:  Derek, you didn't do anything wrong.  In fact you are probably the sweetest of all of the Bachelors.  It's not you or anything you did.

Caliopie:  Derek, we grew up together.  You were our paper boy, and you used to play kicky bag with my brother at the bus stop.  I've always thought you were a great guy.  But I think of you like a brother, not a lover.  You deserve a girl who can return all the love you have to give.  Please don't think I'm rejecting you.  I'm setting you free.

Well Legacy Land, our Heiress has spoken.  Derek Vayajakar will not marry The Heiress.

Thank you for appearing on our program Derek.  We appreciate you sharing your poetry with Legacy Land.
