Chapter 23 - The Birthday Boy

Then it was time for presents. Again, Atlas seemed to know exactly what to do. Kids are amazing. It's like they are born to have birthdays or something.

The little guy wasted no time in going after the good stuff that came from Uncle Plato and the rest of his family.

Atlas was very pleased to discover his first Fire Truck - complete with working siren.... He found the button right away and got great delight out of pushing it over and over and over and over.... oh boy. He's going to out grow this, right?

Robi was kind enough to distract Atlas from the noisy firetruck and got him interested in playing with his castle playset. I don't know who was having more fun. Robi had lost himself in many ways with the loss of Ugg Bugg, it was hard for him not to be the "bug guy" anymore. He didn't talk about it, but I knew. However, in Atlas he had found himself as a father, and he was a good one.

Little Zeiss came over to check out the fun and they seemed to get right to the business of pillaging the castle.

Their plan of attack seemed to center around biting the toes off of their victims.
