My name is Newton Legalos. I am the son of Magna and Remington. I moved to
this house when I
was a little boy. My mother was always very concerned about
appearances and she wanted me to
grow up in a big house. I don't know if it made
much difference, if I turned out good or not.
My mother was a doctor, my father a
business man. They weren't very happy when I told them I
wanted to become a
professional athelete, but I did. There was no way I could spend my life
cooped up inside like they did.

I married a real sweet girl. Erika Jayaplan. She was our gardener. My mother
wasn't happy I
had married someone in a 'service' profession, but Erika is a
real lady, and she stole my heart.
We had to stay here at "The Manor" and live
with my parents. They were getting too
old to take care of the place, and of
course she couldn't risk her "alien brother"
Gallileo taking over (even though
he is my favorite uncle and completely cool). So Erika
and I stayed and raised
our family here. It's nice enough I guess, and Erika is glad she
doesn't have to
take care of the yard anymore.
We had two sons. I'd like you to meet them.

This is Socrates, my first son. I'm very proud of him, of course. He's the heir
to all of
this. Sometimes I worry he's too much of a ladies man, but he's the kind
of guy who lights up
the room when he walks into it. He can talk to anybody about
anything. I think Grandfather
Capernicus would have really enjoyed him. He's
had the hots for our maid ever since he was a
little tyke. I never dreamed he'd
grow up to marry her - but he did - well - he almost didn't,
but I'll let him tell you
that story. He was the first of our family line to go to college,
of course he majored
in Philosophy. He was the most popular guy on campus and he founded a
fraternity.
He called it "Ho-Ho-Ho". Must have been some kind of Christmas party
they were
having to make him name it that.

This is Apollo. We try not to call him the "Spare Heir". We didn't want Socrates
to
grow up an only child, and my mother was so pressuring about this legacy thing....
well, you
never know when a sattelite will fall on some one - or the diswasher will
jump out and eat them.
So this is Apollo, who is a very smart young man. He's in
college at the moment, took over the
Fraternity that Socrates started. We don't hear
from him as much as we'd like, but he's a good
boy and I'm sure he's fine.

Oh heck, he'll probably hate me for adding this picture in - but this is Socrates as
a baby
("Little Socky" as we called him and I swore never to tell anyone about that nickname).
My mother Magna will come back from her grave and strangle me if I don't mention that she
purchased all of the furniture and decor for this room, and painted all of the artwork.

Well, maybe this is kind of personal, but we just put in a new hot tub this week - so here is a
picture
of me with my sweetie Erika "heating it up"

Erika and I are more and love than ever - the Legalos men only improve with age you know.
I may have sacrificed
some of my own personal happiness not being able to spend time with as
many friends as I'd like to - but to be with
Erika and raise two fine boys like Socrates and
Apollo it's been worth it. Erika could have had any boy in the
neighbhorhood - but she has
remained my faithful wife - I know our example has made an impression on Socrates.
