So why do you think your parents never thew you another birthday party?

Knowing them they probably went all out on that first party and burned themselves out. The only way I even know about that party is because of Bugs.

I'm sorry? Bugs?

Yeah, that was the birthday that I got Bugs. I don't know if I really remember it because I was so little, I just know the story.

After the party we were all waiting for my dad to bring me a really big surprise. I remember everyone was excited.

Robi's gone! I just know it!

He was grilling burgers and then I went upstairs because I needed to think.
Maybe Nichole killed him with her bundt pan.

We were in the blue room, in the front of the house. I think my cousins were there, but I can't really remember. Mohavi would have been a baby still, I think.

Plato how could you just let Robi leave like that?
I didn't. I was upstairs with Cali and George.
George? What was George doing upstairs?

Then my dad got home with my present and everyone got really excited.

Robi and Euripides just pulled up!

We all went outisde to see my present

Hey Atlas! Daddy brought you a special birthday present!

Puppy! Puppy!

That's right. Cousin Euripides thought you should have one of his new puppies.

Where did you go? I thought you'd left.
I went to get the dog. Why would I leave?
You got a dog without talking to me?
It wouldn't be the first thing one of us has done without talking to the other.

I think I can use it for work. Look it's cute. He's gonna love it.

My dad had passed on his love of bugs to me. My mom says that anytime I saw something move I called it 'bugs'. I guess the puppy was no different. I called him 'Bugs' too and the name kinda stuck.

I was like any other little kid with a puppy, I didn't want to put him down.

So let me get this straight? George is running PolyPetrol?
That's what he said - Nicholas Brettweiler made him Senior VP or something.
Was it his idea to take Ugg Bugg?

Does he know he ruined us?

So that's how I got Bugs. At least, that's the story I know.
